BEN HEFFERNAN

Ben Heffernan is an educator, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer-songwriter based in Toronto. A graduate of Western University’s Don Wright Faculty of Music, Ben has spent over a decade building an impressive dual career in music education and live performance. With more than 500 gigs under his belt, his extensive stage experience includes Canadian and UK tours as well as appearances at major Canadian festivals. Ben also actively writes, records, and releases indie rock music under the name “Oh Berlin”, while also collaborating with a diverse roster of artists as a producer and engineer.

Ben has experience teaching guitar, bass, ukulele, piano and rock band ensembles to students of all ages, styles, and skill levels. He is passionate about fostering a fun, creative learning environment for all of his students, ensuring that every lesson is custom-tailored to meet each student’s unique musical goals and interests.
